Mrs. Doris Lee Jackson, age 81, of High Springs, Florida died Thursday, Dec. 10, in the E.T. York Care Center, Gainesville, Florida following an extended illness. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia and lived in Hawthorne, Florida before moving to High Springs, Florida 20 years ago. She worked at Sun State Federal Credit Union, formerly owned Mr. Pizza Man in Gainesville, Fla. and most recently was a receptionist at High Springs Animal Hospital for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Doris Bagley Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Susan E. Jackson of Fort White, Florida: two sons, Joseph (Mia) Jackson of High Springs, Florida and Thomas (Shelly) of Fort White, Florida: her aunt, Barbara Moyer of Norfolk, Virginia: eleven grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Jackson will be held at 4 P.M. Friday, Dec. 18, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Florida, with Rev. James Christopher Hall officiating.
