Mrs. Fannie Cathern Hall, age 86, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 22, in the HCA Lake City Hospital, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Hall was born in Osburn, Kentucky and lived in New Boston, Michigan before moving to Lake City, Florida in 1987. She was a homemaker and member of the Hopeful Baptist Church. While living in Michigan worked as a nursing aid in the area hospitals and nursing homes. Mrs. Hall loved working with all animals at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ranel Duran Hall and her parents, Mallie and Gracie May Sturgill. She is survived by her seven children, Brenda (Larry) Kittle of Windermere, Florida, Tamey Joyce Goins of Lake City, Florida, Jackie (Randall) Dudleston of Sandusky, Ohio, Kim (Tony) Daniel of Bradenton, Florida, Frank (Lynn) Hall of Camden, Tennessee, Kristie Akselsen of Sandusky, Ohio and Michell (Matt) DePoister of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one sister, Christine (Ronald) Ford of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Hall will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Aug. 29, in the Hopeful Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Ford officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, Aug. 28, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
