Mrs. Anna “Faye” Johnson, age 91, of Fleming Island, Florida died Friday, Oct. 22, at the home of her daughter in Orange Park, Florida. She was born in Taylor, Florida and lived most of life in Glen St. Mary and Macclenny, Florida. She lived a life of many “Blessings”. She served a great God, had a loving and caring family and good health. She worked as an administrative secretary for Southern Bell Telephone for over 30 years and she and her first husband owned and operated the Taylor Store in Taylor, Florida for many years. She was a graduate of Taylor High School and a member of the Taylor Church, Taylor, Florida. She was preceded in death by late husbands, Maxie Reynolds and Tom Johnson, her parents, Warren W. and Roxie Dinkins Taylor. She is survived by her three daughters, Debbie (Karl) Hidalgo of Orange Park, Florida, Julie (Howard) McLendon and Pam (Bobby) Carswell both of Jacksonville, Florida; one step-daughter, Ruthie (Stan) Plumb of Maryland; one sister, Shirley Wright of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Leo (Claudia) Taylor of Glen St. Mary, Florida; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Johnson will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, Oct. 25, in the Taylor Church with Rev. Mark Woods, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation and gathering with the family will be 1 to 2 P.M. (One hour before services) at the church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
