Frank Perry

Mr. Leon Franklin “Frank” Perry, age 79, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Dec. 28, 2020 and has now met his Lord  and  Savior. He was a special angel.  Frank was born in Hamilton County, Florida on July 2, 1941 to George D. and Mary Hill Perry. They moved to Columbia County, Florida in 1950 and have resided here since then. Frank was handicapped since birth and has been wheel chair bound his whole life. He was unable to speak but he loved everyone and would smile, wave and holler at everyone showing his love for them. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, George W. (Billy George) and Jack W. Perry. He is survived by three brothers,  Charles W. (Carolyn) Perry of Astatula, Florida, Curtis D. (Joyce) Perry of Conway, S.C. and Larry E. (JoAnne) Perry of Lake City, Florida: one sister, Janice Harrell of Lake City, Florida: numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, Jan. 2, in the Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Rodriquez  officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be at the cemetery 30 minutes before service time.  The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the staff at Solaris Health Center for  the tender love and care they extended to our brother during his stay.
