Geraldine Richardson

Mrs. Geraldine Richardson, age 86 of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Thursday, December 19 in the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center, Macclenny, FL following an extended illness. Mrs. Richardson was born in Sanderson, FL to the late Silas and Edna Crawford and resided in Jacksonville, FL for several years before returning to Baker County in 1969. She worked for the Southern Bell Telephone Company for many years and retired from the company after 37 years of service. After retirement Mrs. Richardson enjoyed spending her time helping the elderly, mowing, being outside, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, Wilford Lacy Richardson. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her son, Eugene (Donna) Richardson of Glen St. Mary, FL and her grandchildren, Bryan (Melissa) Richardson and Angela (Brad) Rhoden both of Sanderson, FL. She was also blessed to have five great grandchildren, Titus, Karis, Miley, Jade and Max.  Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Richardson will be held on Sunday, December 22 at 2 P.M. in the Taylor Church, with Youth Pastor Bryan Richardson, assisted by Pastor Mark Woods, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Saturday, December 21 in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL. Interment will immediately follow the funeral services in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Fl. Guerry Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
