Mr. Haven Paul Cammett, age 90, of Providence, Florida died Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following a long illness. Mr. Cammett was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and lived in Jacksonville, Fla. before moving to Providence, Florida 38 years ago. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Naval navigator after 36 years of service. He then went to work as a data processor with the Jacksonville Electric Authority and then retired after 20 years of service. He was a graduate of Brown University, Providence, R.I., a Navy veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam and enjoyed flying his private airplane. He is survived by his wife, Pearline Cammett of Providence, Florida: his children, Kathryn Elrod of Abbeville, S.C., Paul Cammett, Diane Padgett and Arthur Cammett all of Jacksonville, Florida: four sisters, Constance Albertson of Torrance, Ca., Pauline Myrtue of Woodstock, Md., Lena Whalen of Dover N.H. and Dorothy Wiggin of New Hampshire: four grandchildren, Joseph Korab, Jr., Brian Cammett, Joshua Padgett and Jacob Padgett. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, Nov. 27, in the Old Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Providence, Fla.
