Mrs. Hazel Alyse Jordan, age 92, of Lake City, Florida died Friday, April 23, in the Baya Point Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lake City, Florida. She was born in Moultrie, Georgia and resided in Thomasville, Georgia before moving to Lake City, Florida in 1965. She was a homemaker and member of the Eastside Baptist Church, Lake City, Florida. She loved her family and her friends in her church. She was the widow of the late R.D. Jordan and was preceded in death by her son, Wendell S. Jordan, her parents, Edward R. and Nevada M. Powell and six siblings. She is survived by her son, Larry D. (Nancy) Jordan of Lake City, Florida: Two sisters, Carolyn Andrews of Georgia and Merita (Doyle) Key of Norman Park, Georgia: Two grandchildren, Wayne (Jennifer) Roberts and Angela (Chisolm) Ebanks: three great-grandchildren, Kaley Maples, Jordan Roberts and Tanner Roberts. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Jordan will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, April 27, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Dampier officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, April 26, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
