Mrs. Ida Pearl Outlaw, age 90, of Macclenny, Florida passed away Thursday, June 18th, in the care of Community Hospice, Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Outlaw was born and raised in Macclenny and lived here all of her life. She drove a school bus for the Baker County School system for over 30 years. After retiring from being a bus driver she continued to serve the community by substitute teaching in classrooms. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny and enjoyed singing at church and joining in the church activities. Mrs. Outlaw also enjoyed fishing and taking care of her farm and the farm animals when she had down time. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis B. and Ida P. Hodges, her late husband, Main Outlaw, and her son, William H. Outlaw. She is survived by her only daughter, Willie (Tom) Hazel Bell of St. Augustine, Florida; 2 grandsons, Joshua (Jennifer) Bell of St. Augustine, Florida and Aaron (Misha) Bell of Orlando, Florida; and 4 great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Walker, Max and Beckett Bell also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Outlaw will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, June 24th, in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida with Pastor John Schultz officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday (One hour before services) at the funeral home.
