Ira Dan Wall, Sr.

Mr. Ira Dan “Danny” Wall, Sr., age 61, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Saturday, May 22, in the Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida following a short illness. Mr. Wall was born in Arlington, Virginia and had resided in Baker County, Florida for over 20 years. He was the owner of Danny’s Low Cost Tree Service of Jacksonville, Fla. for over 36 years. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church, St. George, Georgia and enjoyed collecting items, cooking, guitar playing and singing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira T. and Elizabeth Spicer Wall and his birth mother, Mary Louise Budd. He is survived by his wife, Sarah A. Wall of Glen St. Mary, Florida: Six children, Karla Wall, Ira Dan Wall, Jr. and Jesse Wall all of Glen St. Mary, Florida, Angel Wall of Jacksonville, Florida, Casey (Siyar) Koseoglu of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Selena (James) Truett of Macclenny, Florida: Three brothers, Mark Campbell, Gary Campbell and Barron Campbell all of Fredericksburg, Virginia: Two sisters, Patricia Riner of Culpepper, Virginia and Nancy Campbell of Fredericksburg, Virginia: Twelve grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Wall will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, May 26, in the New Life Baptist Church, St. George, Georgia with Rev. James Conner, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Eddie Anderson. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 11 to 1 P.M. Wednesday (Two hours before services) at the Church.
