Jackie Morris Lamar Alexander

Jackie Morris Lamar Alexander, 60, of Macclenny, FL, passed on February 27, 2023. Jackie was born on May 12, 1962, to Jack and Virginia Alexander in Jacksonville, FL. After high school, he worked at UPS, then in the construction industry, and later joined a family-owned business in tile setting. Due to a long-term health issue, he took an early retirement to enjoy walking and spending time in nature, listening to music, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family. Jackie loved to fish, hunt, and play music with his brothers and his cousin, Paul David. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Virginia Alexander. He is survived by brothers Troy (Angie) Alexander, Terrell (Karen) Alexander, and sister Ann Watts (Auzzie), all of Macclenny, FL, plus many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service to honor the life of Jackie will be held at Guerry Funeral Home on Friday, March 10 at 2:00 PM. with pastors Troy Alexander and Terrell Alexander officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2:00 P.M. (one hour before the service). Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL has been entrusted with the service arrangements.
