Mr. James Russell “Homey” Anderson, age 64, of Lake City, Florida died Friday, Sept. 17, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Anderson was born in Live Oak, Florida and lived in Dowling Park, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida three years ago. He had worked as a saw operator with W.B. Howland’s Truss Plant in Live Oak Florida for over 20 years until his retirement. He was a very loving father and enjoyed fishing in the Suwannee River and shooting rifles with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Floyd Anderson and his brother Wayne Anderson. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha (David) Harrington of Lake City, Florida; his son, James E. (Karen) Anderson of Keystone Heights, Florida; his mother Anita (Frank) McCoy of Burnwell, Kentucky; Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. Friends and family are welcome to a viewing and gathering at 3P.M. Sunday, Sept. 19, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
