Mr. James Larry Herrin, age 67, of Baldwin, Florida passed away Thursday, April 21st, at Haven- Custead Care center, Orange Park, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Herrin was born in Pearson, Georgia before moving to Baldwin and making it his home for the last 40 years. Mr. Herrin was self employed at Herrin Trucking Company as a truck driver for many years. Mr. Herrin was known as a hard worker to all of his friends and family. He also loved to fish and, most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.
Mr. Herrin is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Doris Herrin and brother, Merrill Herrin. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Herrin of Baldwin, Florida; Brothers, B.W. (Carolyn) Herrin and Roy (Sherry) Herrin both of Homerville, Georgia; Sisters, Virginia (Terry) Morrell and Mary Frances (Ronnie) Spikes both of Pearson, Georgia; and several loved nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Herrin will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 26th, in Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (Cow Creek Cemetery), Lake Park, Georgia with Rev.
