Mr. Joseph Earl Browder, age 87, of Macclenny, Florida died Monday, Nov. 2, at his home following a long illness. Mr. Browder resided in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida in 1979. He worked numerous jobs during his life and most recently as a food service manager with the Florida Department of Corrections for over 25 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Florida and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Browder of Macclenny, Florida: Five children, Melody (Donald) Wiegand of Glen St. Mary, FL, Joseph E. (Terri) Browder, Jr. of Fleming Island, FL, Marcy ( Bobby) Nevin of Macclenny, FL, Mary Lynn (Jimmy) Myers of Lilburn, GA and Joan (Scott) Parker of Macclenny, FL: numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Browder will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Dr. Dan McLean, Chaplain and Bereavement Therapist for Vitas Healthcare Services, officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Fla. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida.
