Mr. Joseph Miller “Jody” Lesley, age 74, of Crawfordville, Florida died Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the Oak View Rehab Center, Orange Park, Florida following a long illness. Mr. Lesley was born in Lake City, Florida and lived in Tallahassee, Florida before moving to Crawfordville, Fla. 15 years ago. He was a self employed hair stylist for over 40 years. He was a member of the Capitola Baptist Church and enjoyed painting, making jewelry and dealing in antiques. He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Catherine Louise Simpkins Lesley and two brothers, Leon Lesley and Richard Lesley. He is survived by two sisters, Linda L (Sidney) Austin and Phyllis (Jerry) Spears both of Crawfordville, Fla.: three brothers, Danny (Sandy) Lesley and Calbert (Pami) Lesley both of Crawfordville, Fla. and Calvin Lesley of St. Marks, Fla.; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Lesley of Crawfordville, Fla. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Lesley will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 18, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Spears officiating. Interment will be in Williams Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 1:30 P.M. Tuesday before the service. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
