Mrs. Juanita Ressie Driskell, age 95, of Dade City, Florida passed away Saturday, July 23, in the Advent Healthcare Hospital, Zephyrhills, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Driskell was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided in Lake City, Florida for over 45 years before moving to Dade City, Florida in 2007. She was a homemaker and member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Lake City, Florida. She loved gardening, reading, a former member of the Audubon Society, a nature enthusiast who enjoyed all of nature’s creatures. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Driskell, her parents, Dillon and Ressie Sweatman Lyons and a grandson, Dillon Hodges. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Dewey) Parnell of Dade City, Florida; her son, Mark E. Driskell of Lake City, Florida; three grandchildren, Kate (Lou) Forisi, Erin Driskell and Pamela (Zack) Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Cohen Knox and Anthony Forisi. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Driskell will be held at 12 P.M. Wednesday, July 27, in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Florida. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
