Judy Diane Roberts

Mrs. Judy Diane Roberts, age 76, of Macclenny, FL passed away Tuesday, September 22 at the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital, Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Mrs. Judy was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Curtis and Lucille Driggers Tharpe and moved to Baker County, FL in the 1950s. She worked for over 30 years with Winn-Dixie and was the assistant manager for many years before her retirement in 2006. Mrs. Judy was an avid FSU and Wildcat fan and volunteered for several decades with the Baker County Touchdown Club. She loved to spend time with her family, antiquing and gardening. Mrs. Judy is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Claudia Griffis. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Kenneth Roberts: seven children, Jay (Leigh Ann) Register, Kelly Register, Andy (Angel) Register, Gordon (Cindy) Register, Lynne Register (Graydon Smith), Tucker (Jessica) Roberts, Heather Roberts Lewis (Brent Johnson): four siblings, Kingsley (Robin) Tharpe, Carolyn (Zade) Cowart, Butch (Lynn) Tharpe, and Terry (Kay) Tharpe. As well as nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Judy will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, September 26th at Raiford Road Church, Macclenny, FL with Rev. Don Sturgill, Pastor of Souls Harbor Church of God, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Friday, September 25th at the church. Interment will immediately follow the funeral services in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, FL. Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
