Lula Belle Haines, 73, of Sanderson went to be with the Lord peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022. Lou was born the third child of Grace and Roy Harvey.
She spent her entire life in Baker County graduating from Baker County High School. She worked and retired from Northeast Florida State Hospital. After retiring she eventually worked and was much loved at the Macclenny Walmart. Lou loved the Lord and enjoyed playing gospel songs on the piano.
She was preceded in death by both her parents and brother, Roy (Bubba) Harvey, Jr. She leaves her love and memories to her children, Julie and Avery Allen Crawford; grandchildren, Winter A. Crawford, Christopher Nathaniel Sands Jr, and Demarcus Layton Sands; sisters, Bonnie Mathis, Barbara Arzie (Gary), and Rita Menter (Richard); brother, Rick Harvey (Patty) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless other relatives and friends.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Haines will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, November 28, in the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church with Rev Oral Lyons, Pastor, officiating. Final disposition will be by cremation. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (one hour before services) at the church.
