Mrs. Mamie Louise Norman, age 86, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully Sunday, June 28th at her home. Mrs. Norman worked as a claims adjuster for Florida Blue for many years before becoming a housewife. She loved to fish, tend to her flowers, and spend quality time with her family and friends. Mrs. Norman is preceded in death by her late husband, Morris Eugene Norman, her parents, Alexander Hamp and Lila Anderson Henry, one sister, Martha Saunders, and one daughter, Deborah Louise Norman. She is survived by one son, Coby Norman of Jacksonville, FL: one brother, Pat Henry (Karen) of Lawtey, FL: Four grandchildren, Mamie Alana, Jennifer, Jared and Olivia, along with six great grandchildren, Audrey, Faith, Noah, Naomi, Lexy and Hunter, also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Norman will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, July 11th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Hunter of Silver Springs Baptist church to officiate. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 12 to 1 P.M. (one hour before services).
