Marilyn Jones Edgley

Mrs. Marilyn Jones Edgley, age 89, of Lake City, Florida died Tuesday, July 6, in the Willow Creek Assisted Living Facility, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. She was born in Sanderson, Florida and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 66 years. She was a registered real estate agent and was co-owner of Edgley Realty, Lake City, Florida for over 48 years. She was a member of the Christ Central Ministries of Lake City, Florida and enjoyed baking and being around her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward "Chuck" Edgley and her parents, Gordon and Agnus Alderman Jones.  She is survived by her son, Doug (Kimmy) Edgley of Fort White, Florida: two grandchildren, Ragan Norris and Brooke Barber: five great-grandchildren, Ella, Lane, Lola and Layke Norris and Reese Barber. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Edgley will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, July 12, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Johns, Pastor of Christ Central Ministries, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Florida.
