Mrs. Marilyn Edith Vazquez, age 92, of Lake City, Florida died Tuesday, May 5, at the home of her granddaughter in Lake City, Florida. Mrs. Vazquez was born in Buffalo, New York and lived in Lake Worth, Fla. before moving to Lake City in 1991. She worked as a secretary in the personnel department at Palm Beach State College, Florida for almost 20 years. She was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church, Lake City, Florida and held a Degree in Business Administration from Caldwell College, Caldwell, New Jersey. She enjoyed cooking, cross word puzzles, her family and her pets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Charles Vazquez, Jr. and her parents, Paul and Mildred Casey Clark. She is survived by two daughters, Lynne (Sam) Hodges and Carol (Jeff) Kostka both of Lake City, Florida: one son, Anthony (Yvonne) Vazquez, III of West Palm Beach, Fla.: five grandchildren, Daniel Vazquez, Joseph (Linh) Vazquez, Amanda (Matthew) Harrell, Danielle (Josh) Grimes and Stephanie (Ty) Garmany: seven great-grandchildren, Alejandro Vazquez, Brooklynn Hodges, Blythe Harrell, Dayton Grimes, Lawson Garmany, Brylynn Grimes and Kaine Garmany. A funeral mass will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, May 9, in the Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Robert Truijjlo officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Florida.
