Mrs. Martha Faye Tipton, age 71, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Saturday, May 15, in the Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Tipton was born in Jacksonville, Florida and lived there until 2000 and then moved to Glen St. Mary, Florida. She was a homemaker, a graduate of Paxon High School, Jacksonville, Florida and a member of the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church. She enjoyed sports, was a Florida Gator fan, loved her grandchildren and her animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dawson and Ethel Crews Conner. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tommy Tipton, Sr. of Glen St. Mary, Florida: her daughter, Sarah (Danny) Wall of Glen St. Mary, Florida: her son, Benjie Tipton, Jr. of Glen St. Mary, Florida: two sisters, Bertha Taylor of Yulee, Florida and Barbara Hicks of St. George, Georgia: three grandchildren, Little Danny Wall, Selena (James) Truett and Jesse Wall: numerous great-grandchildren also survive. A.M. Wednesday, May 19, in the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Oral Lyons, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Justin Griffis. Interment will be in Emmaus Cemetery, St. George, Georgia. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, May 18, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida.
