Mary Shaw

Mrs. Mary Francis Shaw, age 79, of Bryceville, Florida died Sunday, May 9, in the Macclenny Nursing & Rehab Center, Macclenny, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Shaw had resided in Bryceville, Florida all of her life and worked as a correctional officer at the Reception Medical Center, Lake Butler, Florida for 26 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Brandy Branch Baptist Church, Bryceville, Florida and enjoyed traveling and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mannon Eugene Shaw, her daughter, Karin Tiffin and her parents, Luke and Mable F.  Crews  Lane. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Barry) Milam of Bryceville, Florida: her son, Derrick (Melissa) Proctor of Bryceville, Florida: one sister, Earline Frazz of Lake City, Florida: two brothers, Alton Kohn of Fort White, Florida and Harry C. Kohn of Boise, Idaho: Eleven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Shaw will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 12, in the New Zion Church  Cemetery, S.R. 241, Lake Butler, Florida with Pastor Neil Griffis of Cross Roads to Victory Church officiating.  Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday (One hour before services) in the New Zion Church, State Road 241, Lake Butler, Florida. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
