Michael Anderson

Mr. Michael Anderson, age 67, of Macclenny, Florida passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, at his home. Mr. Anderson was born in the Taylor community of Baker County and resided in Macclenny, Florida most of his life. He owned and operated Michael & Jonathon’s Landscaping of Macclenny for over 34 years. He loved fishing, hunting, Gator football, building bon-fires and growing plants.  He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathon Malachi Anderson and his parents, Johnny M. and Mary Wilson Anderson and seven siblings. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sherrie Anderson of Macclenny, Florida; one daughter, Latisha Cranford of Macclenny, Florida; one son, Keith R. Barber of Macclenny, Florida; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Anderson of Glen St. Mary, Florida; one brother-in-law, Sammy O’Steen of Mayo, Florida; four grandchildren, Gracie Cranford, Breanna Cranford, Jarah Cranford and Chelsey Barber.  A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Anderson will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in the Christian Fellowship Church with Rev. Justin Griffis, Associate pastor of Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church, officiating and assisted by Rev, Tim Thomas, Pastor of Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the church.
