Nolan Edwin Crawford

Nolan Edwin Crawford, age 88, devoted and loving father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.  Nolan was born on June 11, 1932 in St. George, GA to the late George A. Crawford and Missouri Batten Crawford.  Nolan was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and seven sisters.  Nolan is survived by his sister, Clara Young and his daughters, Joni Crawford, Kelly Harden, Dena (Leland) Singleton, grandson, Ryan (Lindsay) Mantz, granddaughters, Casie (Justin) Crumbley and Meghan (Jason) Cooper.  Great-grandchildren, Emma and Addison Crumbley, Brady and Laine Mantz, Tatum, Emery and Blithe Cooper.  Followed by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

In August 1952, Nolan, joined the Air Force and served for four years during the Korean War. Nolan was employed by St. Regis Paper Company for 28 years as an Assistant Crew Leader.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.    He was a devoted member of the St. George Church of God for 53 years.  He served as Church Clerk, Adult and Youth Sunday School Teacher, Finance Committee, Pastors’ Council, Choir Director and Groundskeeper.

Funeral services for Nolan Edwin Crawford will be held at 11 A.M Monday, May 3, in the St. George Church of God in St. George, GA. with Rev. Grady Allbritton, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Emmaus Cemetery, St. George, Georgia. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday (One hour before services) at the church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
