Mrs. Paulette Kent MacDonald, age 75, of Lake City, Florida passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. She lived most of her life in Columbia County and graduated from Columbia High School in 1964. She enjoyed reading and working in her yard. She retired from the Columbia County Clerk of Court in 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny MacDonald, her parents Paul and Thelma Kent, two brothers, Bill and Scott Kent. She attended the Lakeview Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Lance (Stephanee) MacDonald of Lake City, Fla.; one daughter, Shana MacDonald (Josh Berry) of Lake City, Fla.; two grandsons, Peyton MacDonald and Devin Berry; one sister, Harlene (Larry) Brown of Lake City, Fla. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. MacDonald will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, Jan. 6, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Peeler, Pastor of the Siloam United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
