Mrs. Jay Rogenia Roberson, age 87, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away Monday, February 8th, in the care of Trustbridge care center, Boca Raton, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Roberson was born in Monticello, Florida to the late Willie and Hallie Glover in 1934. She resided in Lake City, Florida and Albertville, Alabama before spending the last three and a half years in Boca Raton. Mrs. Roberson worked as a medical transcriber before enjoying her retirement. She was known to be an accomplished gospel pianist, organist, and accordionist. Mrs. Roberson was an active member of the Albertville Church of God, as well.
Mrs. Roberson is preceded in death by both of her parents and her late husband of 55 years, Euley Lester Hudson She is survived by her children, Mark Keith (Julie) Hudson of Alabama and Francelene (David) Hassan of Boca Raton, Florida; and one grandchild, Shelby. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Roberson will be held on Friday, February 12th, at 11 A.M. at Ft. White Cemetery with Rev. Vep and Tommy Hudson officiating. The internment will immediately follow the graveside service. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 4 to 6 P.M., Thursday, February 11th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Florida. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
