Ronald “Bubba” Jeffery Canady, III, age 32, of Macclenny, FL, passed away Friday, January 19, in Baxter, Florida. Bubba was born to the late Ronald “Jeff” Jeffery Canady, II and Sharon Banks Canady. He was raised in Moniac, GA and moved to Baker County, FL as a child. Riding the school bus in the back woods of Baker is where he first met his future wife, Ashley Raulerson. They have been together for 13 years. Bubba enjoyed making everyone around him laugh and was known as a jokester. He was a tree surgeon and worked for Asplundh Tree Experts, but in his off time, he enjoyed being in the woods, hunting and fishing. If he wasn’t in the woods, Bubba would be working on his father-in-law’s, Pender, truck. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald “Jeff” Jeffery Canady, II; paternal grandparents Ronald Canady and Lossie Lou Canady; maternal grandmother Rose Thompson; and brother-in-law Pender Raulerson.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Lauren Raulerson; son Ronald “Little Bubba” Jeffery Canady, IV; mother Sharon Banks Canady of Baxter, FL; father-in-law Pender Raulerson of Baxter, FL; sister Anna Canady of Oklahoma; brother Justin Canady of Macclenny, FL; sister-in-law Taren Martin of Macclenny; nieces Kayleah Canady and Kassie Canady both of Macclenny, Cassidy Manucy, Brooklyn Manucy, and Kayleigh Manucy all of Taylor, FL; nephews Logan Corder, Zane Corder, Sven Corder, and Axl Corder all of Glen St. Mary and Colten Raulerson of Hilliard, FL. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
