Mrs. Ruth Marie Pidgeon, age 66, of Lake City, Florida died Friday, Oct. 8, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Pidgeon was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 30 years. She worked as a courier with Lab Corp in Lake City and also for Island One Resorts Tourist office in Lake City, Florida for over 15 years. She was a member of the New Life Church, Lake City, Florida and enjoyed knitting and reading her Bible. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Tullores Warren. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ricky T. Pidgeon of Lake City, Florida; her daughter, Amanda Smith of Ocala, Florida; her son, Randall E. (Nina) Pidgeon of Lake City, Florida; two sister, Norma Warren of Lake City, Florida and Cindy Humphries of Dumfries, Virginia; three brothers, Ricky Warren, Troy Warren and Wo Warren all of Lake City, Florida; eleven grandchildren also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Warren will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, Oct. 12, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Romey Luke, Pastor of Falling Creek Chapel, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 2 to 3 P.M. Tuesday (One hour before services). Final disposition will be by cremation. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
