Mrs. Sharon E. Crews, age 70, of Macclenny, FL passed away suddenly Monday, January 13th in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, FL. Mrs. Crews was born in Macclenny, FL and lived most of her life in Baker County before relocating to Homerville, GA in 2014. She recently moved back to Macclenny, FL and was excited to be back home. Mrs. Crews married the love of her life, Richard, in 1966 and together they owned and operated Richard’s Meat Market. She loved working alongside her husband and raised her children and grandchildren in the store. Mrs. Crews enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her parents, Auzzie Leon and Verna Belle Crews. Mrs. Crews is survived by her husband, Richard Crews: one son, Ricky Crews (Debbie) of Glen St. Mary, FL: three daughters, Debbie Finley (Darrell) of Macclenny, FL, Tabitha Dugger (Windell) of Macclenny, FL and Samantha Johns (Mike) of Homerville, GA: one sister, Terry Bushman (Roger) of Macclenny, FL: 16 grandchildren, Curtis, Cason, Collin, Kayla, Amanda, Faith, Timmy, Cami, Shelby, Kelsey, Tallon, Jackson, Scooby, Jake, Jasper, and Presley. Eight great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Crews will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, January 16th in the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, with Elder David Crawford, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, January 15th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service in Oak Grove Cemetery. Guerry Funeral Home, US 90 E., Macclenny, FL, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
