Shawn E. Roberts Rhoden

Mr. Shawn Eugene Roberts Rhoden, age 44, of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Friday, August 20th at the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, FL following a brief illness. Shawn was born in Valdosta, GA and lived in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Baker County, FL in 2010. He was a correctional officer for 6 years and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his husband, Jeffrey S. Rhoden of Glen St. Mary, FL and his parents, Eugene and Marlene Roberts of Valdosta, GA. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Rhoden will be held at 3 P.M., Friday, August 27th in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 2 to 3 P.M. (one hour before services) at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in Oak Grove Cemetery.
