Sidney Cochran

Mr. Sidney John Cochran, age 63, of Raiford, FL passed away at his home Tuesday, December 14, after an extended illness. Mr. Cochran was born in Williston, FL to the late Andrew and Annie Appleton Cochran. He lived in Sanderson, FL for many years before making his permanent residence with his wife in Raiford, FL over 30 years ago. Mr. Cochran attended Raiford Road Church and enjoyed fishing and going camping. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Cochran is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Betty Cochran: one daughter, Becky Cochran (Jesse Crane) of Ft. White, FL: three brothers, Roger Cochran (Diane) of Lake City, FL, Lee Cochran (Tammy) of Glen St. Mary, FL and James Cochran (Sherry) of Jacksonville, FL: three sisters, Annette Thieme (Warren) of Louisville, KY, Cherylene Trimm (Phillip) and Rosa Dillion (Timmy) both of Glen St. Mary, FL. Four grandchildren, Lilly, Kaily, Skye and Bryce Crane, also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Cochran will be held at 3 P.M., Saturday, December 18, in Raiford Road Church with Mr. Doney Harris, Jr. officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 2 to 3 P.M. (one hour before the service). Interment will immediately follow the funeral service in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, FL.
