Susie Raulerson

Ms. Susie K. Raulerson, age 78, of Macclenny, FL passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 22 in the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospice following an extended illness. Ms. Raulerson was born in Ft. Benning, GA and had resided in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Baker County, FL in 2000. She enjoyed going to casinos, playing bingo and gardening. Ms. Raulerson loved her family and cherished their time together. She is preceded in death by her parents, William E. Kennedy and Minnie Johnson Knight, her husband, Vernon H. Raulerson, Sr. and son, John A. Johnson, Jr. Ms. Raulerson is survived by one son, Darren L. Raulerson of Macclenny: two daughters, Julie A. Wingate (Jimmy) of Macclenny, FL and Regina L. Muth (Mark) of Virginia Beach, VA: siblings, Bill, John, Danny, Bruce, Denise and Rossina: granddaughter, Autumn L. Thomas (Charles) of Macclenny, FL and great grandson, Grady J. Thomas of Macclenny, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the ASPCA. A private family service will be held to honor the like of Ms. Raulerson at a later date and interment will be held in North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, FL.
