Mr. Vincent Edward “Vince” Coleman, age 53, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, in the Morris Center Hospice, Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. Mr. Coleman was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided all of his life there until moving to Macclenny, Florida four years ago. He worked as a self employed owner-operator truck driver for over 36 years until his death. He loved NASCAR dirt track racing mostly in Duval county for many years. He is survived by his mother, Mary L. (Grady) Gosnell of Glen St. Mary, Florida; his father, Bobby E. (Eloise) Coleman of Jacksonville, Florida; three step-sisters, Terri Thornburg and Tammy McCarl both of Jacksonville, Florida, and Wendy Crewse of Tennessee; three step-brothers, Grady Gosnell, Jr. of Brooker, Florida, Mike Woodcock of Georgia and Gary Woodcock of California. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Coleman will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Jan. 10, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Williams of Baldwin, Florida officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday (One hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida.
