William Johnson Obituary

Mr. William (Bill) Bryan Johnson, age 91, of Macclenny, FL passed away Tuesday, March 13 at Frank Wells Nursing Home, Macclenny, FL. Bill was an adoring husband, devoted father, papa and hero. He was a resident of the Taylor/Sanderson area for more than 35 years before settling into the comfort of his daughter’s home, to be cared for by Jill and Billy and share in the lives of his grandchildren, Timmy, Kelsee, Cameron and Katelyn. Bill was born on July 10, 1926 in Prairie, Arkansas to the late John and Vera Johnson. On March 19, 1954 he married the love of his life, Marilyn Cameron and was blessed with 4 children and 46 wonderful years of marriage. Bill built a successful career in the tire retread business that allowed him to make lifelong friendships that he cherished greatly. He attended the First Baptist Church of Sanderson, loved spending time with his family, old western movies and visits with his great grandbabies, Kenzie, Rylee, Parker and Deacon. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilyn and his sister he so greatly loved, Audrey Pope. He is survived by his sons, Bryan (Deborah), Lance and Brett: His daughter, Jill (Billy): grandchildren, Timmy (Casi) Rhoden, Kelsee (Michael) Rhoden, Cameron Johnson, Katelyn Johnson, Kayleigh (Jordan) Ross, Jeffrey James Johnson, Sedaira Johnson and Taylor (Jack) Kirkland. Seven great grandchildren also survive. A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, March 23 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
