Mr. Winston Churchill Harvey, age 76, of Sanderson, Florida died Friday, Mar. 20, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Harvey was born in Sanderson, Florida and live there all of his life. He worked as a soil technician with the Department of Transportation-Lake City for over 33 years until his retirement. He enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Sadie Raulerson Harvey, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Paulette Harvey of Sanderson, Fla.: His daughter, Patsy (Clay) Griffis of Sanderson, Fla.: His son, Craig Harvey of Sanderson, Fla. : one brother, Ed (Shirley) Harvey, four sisters, Dorothy (Les) Simmons, Vivian Dority and Meredith Harvey all of Sanderson, Fla. and Aline Rockhold of Jacksonville, Fla.: Four grandchildren Klate (Lia) Griffis, Trenton (Macy) Harvey, Klint Griffis and Kole Griffis and one great-grandson, Kayde Griffis. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Harvey will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, Mar. 23, in the Cedar Creek Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida with Rev. Eddie Sanders officiating.
