Mr. Felton “Kenny” Tyson, 70, of Macclenny, FL passed away Friday July 14, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Mr. Tyson was born in Macclenny, FL to Orville Tyson and Inez Manning Tyson and spent his entire life in Baker County. He served our country in the United States Navy. After the Navy, Mr. Tyson continued his service to our country with over 30 years at the Department of Corrections. He was a member of Crossroads to Victory Church and also attended Road to Calvary Church. He enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting, as well as trips to the mountains. His most treasured time was that with his grand babies. Kenny is preceded in death by both parents; his brother, Billy Tyson; and wife of over 30 years, Elaine Raulerson Tyson.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Irene Tyson; two daughters, Amy (Carey) Randall of Starke, FL and Ashley (Kevin) Davis of Lawty, FL; one step son, Keith Adams of Albany, NY; two sisters, Betty (Neil) Griffis of Raiford, FL and Ann (Michael) Stone of Taylor, FL; two brothers, Thomas Tyson of Raiford, FL and James Tyson of Lake Butler. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Alaina Randall, McKenna Randall, Kayla Baker, Keith Adams Jr., and Aaron Adams; and two great grandchildren, Titus Baker and Tobias Baker.

Funeral services to honor Mr. Tyson will be Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 10:00 at Crossroads to Victory Church. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 on Monday July 17, 2017 at the Chapel at Guerry Funeral Home. Brother Tommy Anderson and Neil Griffis will be officiating the services. Mr. Tyson’s interment will be at South Prong Cemetery. Guerry Funeral Home of Macclenny are in charge of arrangements
