My best memories of Doris were from early in my marriage to her brother Bob. On our many trips to Florida she was so friendly to me. It was impressive how good she was at gardening, cooking, canning and in general taking care of a large family. She and her children seemed to stick together and support each other. And, they as adults are impressive in their own right. A good part of it must be a reflection of their loving mother.
