Vernell Fletcher

Ms. Vernell Fletcher, age 72, of Baldwin, FL passed away Wednesday, November 9 at her home following an extended illness. Ms. Fletcher had lived in Baldwin, FL for 20 years after moving there from Jacksonville, FL. She was a loving mother, and sister and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Inez Deen Mullis, and one sister, Doris Mullis. Ms. Fletcher is survived by one son, Earl Sockow of Michigan: two daughters, Melinda Murphy (Pat) and Shelia Sockow both of Michigan: two sisters, Ruthie Hannah (Lonnie) and Jean Guthrie both of Jacksonville, Florida. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A private family memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 13 at the home of Ruthie Hannah.
